Gib II by Andrea Mowry

Gib II

DESIGNED BY ANDREA MOWRY AND KNIT BY

JULIA IN BERROCO REMIX

Andrea Mowry’s Gib II is a gender-neutral pullover with a simple knit-and-purl pattern that provides the overall texture and cables along the raglans for a little extra interest and fun. Berroco Remix is a four-season fiber blend (39% nylon, 27% cotton, 24% acrylic, 10% silk, 9% linen) that combines tweedy interest with washability and next-to-the-skin softness, so the finished sweater is as easy to care for as it is to wear!

Julia notes: "The Gib II sweater pattern is a sequel that's just as good as the original—a masculine version of a classic! The repetitive, easy-to-memorize main pattern is spiced up with modified raglan shaping that follows the contours of the human shoulder and some eye-catching cables. I made mine in Berroco Remix, so this sweater could work in between seasons, but this garment would be a delight to make (and wear!) in any of your favorite worsted bases."

The Gib II kit is available in 9 sizes and ranges in price from $88.50 to $168.
