Fresh from Madison, WI, (one of our favorite places on the planet and where we met and got married, but that's beside the point--it's really just a lovely city), comes a hand-dyed silk/mohair blend we can't recommend highly enough. Laura dyes this with exceptional care, working with the two fibers that make up Fuzzy Thinking to bring out the luminosity of the silk while allowing the mohair halo to bloom with varying shades of color to its heart's content.
Laura (a person as lovely as the city she hails from) filled us in a bit on the dying process when she was in the shop for a trunk show this winter. It was eye-opening to hear how much attention to detail goes into each skein. We are so happy to have this new batch of Fuzzy Thinking (in eleven stunning colorways).
Use Fuzzy Thinking alone or with another base (perhaps Laura's You Soxy Thing?) to beautiful effect on your next sweater or shawl. You will be very happy. 🙂
