Susanna Kaartinen’s Saurel is an asymmetrical scarf that uses brioche stitch and three colors of delightfully soft and squishy Brooklyn Tweed Arbor to make a completely reversible fabric. The bold color blocking and bias stripes add visual interest and you can finish off the scarf with optional tassels for a little pop of whimsy.
Each kit contains 6 skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Arbor (3 skeins of MC, 2 and 1 skeins of CCs) in the color combination of your choice and the pattern for Saurel which will make one scarf approximately 13” wide and 78” long. We will purchase a copy of Saurel for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US6 32” or longer circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge) and an optional US4 32” needle if you choose to do a tubular cast on.
