Ellen Mason’s Polka Knot Hat is a speedy knit that will keep you (or someone you love) cozy! The hat is worked in the round from the bottom up with clear instructions for the “knots” and a big squishy pom pom on top. With bulky weight yarn and size 10.5 needles, Polka Knot is a fast project that is perfect for gift giving. We have put together some fun color combinations, including some beloved Michigan college colors, so you can keep your students or alumni (or passive bystanders!) warm as the winter weather sets in!
Each kit contains the pattern for Polka Knot Hat and 2 skeins of of Kelbourne Woolen’s Germantown Bulky (100% North American wool) which will make one hat and large pom pom in any of three sizes with an 18¾”, 20” or 21½” circumference. We will purchase a copy of Polka Knot Hat for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need US10.5 16" circular and DPN needles (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and DPNs here.
