Deborah Newton’s Orcutt Tee has an easy cable and textured stitch pattern and a graceful neckline; this versatile garment works as a beautiful summer tee when it is hot outside and as a layering piece in cooler weather. Blue Sky Organic Cotton Worsted yarn is a non-mercerized 2-ply cotton, whose melting texture is the ultimate in softness, that still provides excellent stitch definition.
Orcutt Tee is available in 9 sizes and is designed to fit with 6-7” inches of positive ease. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is 6-7” inches larger than your chest measurement.
- Size 1: 35.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 2: 41” finished chest circumference
- Size 3: 42.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 4: 46” finished chest circumference
- Size 5: 51.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 6: 57” finished chest circumference
- Size 7: 58.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 8: 62” finished chest circumference
- Size 9: 67.5” finished chest circumference
Each kit includes sufficient yarn for the size specified in the color of your choice, along with the pattern. We will include a code to download a digital copy of the pattern on Ravelry or on Blue Sky's website. This code will work through July 31, 2024.
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US6 16” circular needle and US7 and US8 32” circular needles (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
