Carroll Davis-Johnson’s Old Shale Waves is a colorful baby blanket with an easy four row repeat. Play with your stripes, like in our sample, or just use up one color at a time for a simple and striking color-blocked effect! Soft, nubby, washable Bud (100% organic cotton) in five different colors and size 10 needles make this a fast and fun project.
Each kit contains 5 skeins of Juniper Moon Bud (1 skein of each color) in the color combination of your choice and the pattern for Old Shale Waves which will make one blanket approximately 29” long and 29” wide. You will receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF of the pattern.
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US10 32” or longer circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
