James N. Watts' Mystic Square is a magical, modular top designed to be knit with Noro yarns. Using join-as-you-go techniques, you start by knitting a central square then pick up stitches to add blocks without seaming to build the sweater out. The slow, shifting color changes of Noro Ito (100% wool) make the knitting process one of discovery and delight!
Sizing
Mystic Square is available in 9 sizes. It is designed to be worn with 5” of positive ease. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is 5” larger than your chest measurement.
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US5 and US8 16” and 32” circular needles (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
