Suvi Simola’s simple and modern Midtones Shawl combines color blocks with knit and purl sections that run diagonally across the shawl. The shawl is worked sideways from cast on tip to the bind off row, and a simple i-cord bind-off adds a nice finishing touch. Buttery soft Summer in Kashmir (90% organic cotton, 10% organic cashmere) provides beautiful stitch definition and drape to this summery shawl.
Each kit includes 5 balls of Summer in Kashmir in your choice of color combinations and the pattern for Suvi Simola’s Midtones Shawl, which will make one shawl with approximately 55” wingspan and 28” depth. We will purchase a copy of Midtones Shawl for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US4 32” or longer circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
