Emilie Luis’s Heure d’hiver uses stitches found in traditional Irish knitwear to create a big cozy scarf finished with an exuberant fringe. Le Gros Lambswool, a soft but sturdy yarn, provides excellent stitch definition in a gorgeous range of softly heathered colors.
Each kit contains the pattern for Heure d’hiver and 5 skeins of Biches et Bȗches Le Gros Lambswool (100% lambswool) in your choice of color, which will make one scarf approximately 76” long and 12” wide (not including fringes in the measurements). We will purchase a copy of Heure d’hiver for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US4 and US7 24” or longer circular needles (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
