Jared Flood’s First Colorwork Cowl is the perfect project to practice stranded knitting. The cowl’s motifs incorporate easy combinations of simple two-color stranded rounds and the pattern includes tutorials that cover color dominance and flawless floats. We’ve put together five different color combinations of Brooklyn Tweed Shelter’s gorgeous colorways, including a version for our popular Maize & Blue collection of projects!
Each kit includes 4 skeins of Shelter (100% Targhee-Columbia wool), 2 skeins of the main color and 1 skein each of the contrasting colors, in your choice of color combination, and the pattern for First Colorwork Cowl. Each kit will make one cowl with a 25" top circumference; 32" bottom circumference and 9.5” length. We will purchase a copy of First Colorwork Cowl for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you would also like to have this pattern in your Ravelry library, please note your Ravelry ID (not your password!) in the "Notes" field in your cart!
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need US5 16” and US8 24” circular needles (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needles at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.
If you'd like to make your kit a gift (for yourself or someone else), or if you just wish to keep your new project tidy and organized, add the Spun Rope Handle Bag with Pin to your order and we will package your purchase accordingly!
