Whether you’re headed to the farmer’s market or (ahem) your local yarn shop, Susanne Müller’s knitted Edda bag is the perfect bag to use to bring home the bounty! Airy and light, the bag is knitted in a simple lace pattern with yarnovers in sturdy Laines du Nord Ecotone, a recycled cotton yarn that comes in classic neutrals and cheerful bright colors. This lightweight bag expands to fit an impressive 10 balls of sock yarn!
Each kit contains 2 balls of Ecotone (95% recycled cotton, 5% other fibers) in the color of your choice and the pattern for Edda Bag 2.0 which will make one expandable bag. We will purchase a copy of Edda Bag 2.0 for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you would also like to have this pattern in your Ravelry library, please note your Ravelry ID (not your password!) in the "Notes" field in your cart!
Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a 24” or longer US10.5 circular needle, a 24” or 32” US4 circular needle, and a US K (6.5 mm) crochet hook for a provisional cast on (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here and crochet hooks here.
If you'd like to make your kit a gift (for yourself or someone else), or if you just wish to keep your new project tidy and organized, add the Spun Rope Handle Bag with Pin to your order and we will package your purchase accordingly!
