Chiaki Hayashi’s A Cardigan is as simple and straigtforward as it sounds: an easy top-down cardigan with a boxy, cropped length that makes it supremely wearable! The sweater feels almost weightless, thanks to the luscious and lofty fiber blend of Woolfolk Tage yarn (70% Ovis Ultimate Merino™, 30% mohair).
A Cardigan is available in four sizes and is designed to fit with 3-5 inches of positive ease. The sizes listed below correspond to the actual measurement of the finished garment, so to achieve the recommended fit, please choose a size that is 3-5 inches larger than your chest measurement.
- Size 1: 38.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 2: 41.5” finished chest circumference
- Size 3: 45” finished chest circumference
- Size 4: 48.5” finished chest circumference
Each kit includes sufficient yarn for the size specified in the color of your choice, along with the pattern. We will purchase a copy of A Cardigan for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles or buttons. You will need a US9 32” or longer circular needle, US10 16” and 24” or longer circular needles and US9 and US10 DPNs (or size needed to achieve gauge).
