Botanic Shawl

Designed by Stephen West and knit by Amanda in
Zauberball Crazy and Kelbourne Woolens Perennial

Stephen West’s Botanic Shawl uses one solid and one self-striping yarn together to create a generous shawl that’s easy to knit and mesmerizing to watch as the colors unfold. This project makes a great first shawl candidate, with simple stripes and slipped stitches that work to maximum effect (thanks, yarn!), its generous triangle starting at one corner and increasing gradually to a wide border.

Maize and Blue

This Michigan-made set of 6 stitch markers (3 UP and 3 LP) will fit needle sizes up to a US10.5. Go Blue! And, if you heard that Jennier H., Jim H., Carol K., and Juwan H. (and all the other coaches whose teams entertain us year round) spent their summers learning to knit and crochet, we can't verify anything.
