Knit designer Lindsay Degen has built a huge following with her handcrafted apparel and nurtured a community through her commitment to knitting education. Rooted in her academic background and influenced by her scientist parents, Lindsay incorporates a mix of theoretical rigor and artistic expression into her designs, constantly pushing the boundaries and questioning possibilities with a resounding "What if?"

Now, Lindsay has turned her expert eye to notions and accessories perfect for bringing a spark of joy to your next project. We have beautiful wooden needle and stitch marker holders, a handy latch tool which will be the last dropped-stitch fixer you'll ever buy, and a charming selection of pouches and project bags, including one big enough for your next sweater.

New from JUL Designs

Stud Bridge Brooch and Stud Button designs
are fair trade and handmade in Indonesia.

The Stud Bridge Brooch, with its leather back, is perfect for fashionably closing a cardigan or for elegantly and securely wrapping a shawl or scarf. It's beautifully textured, but the edges are smooth, so your fiber will be well protected.

JUL Stud Buttons make for instant finishing (of, say, your A Cardigan that you picked up above)! These (re)moveable styling tacks integrate a stud element paired with a leather backing. Simply remove the backing, slip the button shaft in between the stitches of your garment (think open cardigans, cowls, shawls, scarves), and pop the leather backing onto the shaft on the wrong side of your material. Voila!
