Please join us in welcoming Petoksy hand-dyer Britty Rae Lockridge to Spun!

A little backstory for your reading pleasure:  Britty Rae, a former Arizonian and a former high school history teacher, relocated to Michigan with her family a few years ago. When her desert-acclimated self encountered the chill of the Great White North, she took up knitting in the hope of keeping warm! Soon, however, she found herself wishing for colors she couldn't find on the shelf. Her solution was to start hand-dyeing, experimenting with colors and techniques and fibers and eventually founding Britty Rae Knits so she could bring her beautiful color sense to the rest of us!

Britty Rae will be bringing her goodies to the shop on Saturday, July 26. Please make plans to come meet her and take a look!
