Next Step Knitting: “Sophie Scarf”

Description: This small project offers a great way to add to your knitting know-how AND your wardrobe! Worked in luxurious cashmere or alpaca, the Sophie Scarf is a simple yet stylish project that will teach you the basics of increases, decreases, and a neat I-cord edging. This two-session class is appropriate for either a beginner or an experienced knitter.
Prerequisites: Participants should be able to cast on and knit.
Homework: None
Min/max number of participants: 4/8
Materials to bring along:
- One skein of soft, luxurious DK weight yarn, purchased from Spun (we recommend June Cashmere DK, Juniper Moon Herriot, or The Fibre Co Acadia)
- Size US4 needles, straight or circular
- A copy, digital or printed, of the "Sophie Scarf" pattern by PetiteKnit (purchase and download from Ravelry here)
