Next Step Knitting: A Simple Hat (“Mutze”)
Teacher: Mary Brandau
When: Tuesdays, September 26 & October 3, 6:00–8:00pm
Description: Put your new knitting skills to work, and make this cute, slightly slouchy hat. Spun’s Mutze (one of our Spundamentals) is a simple knit that looks complicated: your loved ones will be impressed, and you can bask in the glory. This class will teach you how to work in the round, using both circular and double-pointed needles; perform simple decreases; and follow a basic written pattern.
Prerequisites: Participants should be familiar with the long-tail cast-on, knitting, and purling.
Min/max number of participants: 4/8
