Description: Put your new knitting skills to work, and make this cute, slightly slouchy hat. Spun’s Mutze (one of our Spundamentals) is a simple knit that looks complicated: your loved ones will be impressed, and you can bask in the glory. This class will teach you how to work in the round, using both circular and double-pointed needles; perform simple decreases; and follow a basic written pattern.
Prerequisites: Participants should be familiar with the long-tail cast-on, knitting, and purling.

Materials to bring along:
- One skein of worsted weight yarn, purchased from Spun (we recommend Kelbourne Germantown)
- 16” size US5 circular needles
- 16” size US7 circular needles
- Size US7 double-pointed needles
- Stitch markers
- Darning or tapestry needle
