Hand-dyer Douglas Lopez started dyeing yarn in his Pennsylvania kitchen several years ago because he wanted to bring a fresh perspective to yarn land. Success! Knittinbro’s palette is saturated and elegant, and Knittinbro Socks (still hand-dyed one skein at a time in Doug’s kitchen!) is appropriate for socks, of course, but also for garments and accessories. Hand or machine wash, gentle cycle, and lay flat to dry.
Remember that hand-dyed skeins are created individually, in small batches. If you are making a larger garment, please consider alternating skeins every two rows or rounds if you want an appearance of overall consistency in your finished object.
