You’ll learn basic weaving vocabulary and how to warp (thread) your Cricket loom, in the process creating a sampler of weaving structures while busting your stash! (You effortless multitasker, you!) You’ll also learn to plan a project and warp your loom a second time, finishing class with the skills and confidence to work on your own.

Prerequisites: None

Homework: None

Min/max number of participants: 4/4

Materials to bring along:

  • Cricket loom (10” or 15”), already assembled
  • For the warp: one skein Berroco Pima 100, purchased from Spun
  • For the weft: B.Y.O.S. (bring your own stash!). You’ll need 200–250 yards, ranging from fingering to worsted weight. These can include scraps of any length, and weights can be mixed.
