Finishing Techniques — October 2023

Description: If you’ve ever knitted an item only to be confused about how to finish it off, this three-hour class is for you! You’ll learn the arts of weaving in ends, blocking, seaming, picking up stitches to knit a collar or band, and making buttonholes. This hands-on workshop will leave you with the skills to create truly professional-looking projects.
Prerequisites: Participants should be confident in basic knitting skills, including casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off.
Homework: Participants should bring along two 4x4” swatches knit in stockinette (*knit one row, purl one row, repeat from *) and bound off, and two additional 4x4” swatches worked in garter stitch (knit every row) and bound off, all four swatches knit from their skein of Vintage.
