Description: If you’ve ever knitted something beautiful, only to realize that you’re not sure how to move from taking something off your needles to having a truly finished piece of work, this is the class for you. Sunday will cover the basics of seaming (including mattress stitch, grafting, and methods of weaving in ends), blocking, picking up and knitting, and a brief buttonhole tutorial. Boost your making confidence, and get ready to take your work to the next level!
Prerequisites: Participants should be confident in basic knitting skills, including casting on, knitting, purling, and binding off.
Homework: Participants should bring along two 4x4” swatches knit in stockinette (*knit one row, purl one row, repeat from *) and bound off, and two additional 4x4” swatches worked in stockinette to the bind-off but with the stitches kept live on the needle, all four swatches knit from their skein of Berroco Lanas.
