Spun from 100 percent Bluefaced Leicester wool (BFL), and put up with a “shetland twist,” this beauty offers superior softness, luster, and strength, with surprising drape thanks to the “curl” (rather than “crimp”) characteristic of BFL fibers. The wool here is sourced from sheep raised ethically and humanely in the English Midlands, their faces presenting a slightly “blue” tint because of the dark skin beneath their short white hair. Make just about anything! Sweaters will be a dream. Hand wash, and lay flat to dry.
