Detroit Tigers Stitch & Pitch with Spun

We're hitting the highway this fall for a ballgame in Detroit, and you can join us. Shops from all over Southeast Michigan are getting their stitchers together and converging on Comerica Park to see the Tigers take on the Tampa Bay Rays.
Tickets to the game are $30 and include a commemorative Tigers Stitch & Pitch tote and, when you pick up your tickets using the link below, you'll be seated with folks from Spun. You might be saying "I thought they had a strict bag policy at the park. Can I really bring my project?" Yes you can! The helpful folks in the Tigers have designated a special entry gate for stitchers that will make it easy to bring your current WIP, whether it's a pair of socks or a big, bulky sweater.
With the help of Kate from Unwind Yarn Shop in Brighton, this is also a great chance to give back. Kate works with Fisher House Michigan, an organization that builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge while a loved one is in the hospital. They are gratefully accepting hats (all sizes), scarves, cotton or bamboo washcloths, lap blankets and/or prayer shawls, and you can donate items at the game at the Fisher House Michigan table behind section 122!
