Botanic Shawl Kit

    Filter
Stephen West’s Botanic Shawl uses one solid and one self-striping yarn together to create a generous shawl that’s easy to knit and mesmerizing to watch as the colors unfold. This project is a great first shawl candidate, with simple stripes and slipped stitches that work to maximum effect, its generous triangle starting at one corner and increasing gradually to the wide border. The designer also has a handy video tutorial that covers the techniques used in the project.

Each kit contains 2 skeins of Kelbourne Woolens Perennial (60% Merino, 25% alpaca, 15% nylon) and 2 balls of Zauberball Crazy (75% wool, 25% nylon) in the color combination of your choice and the pattern for Botanic Shawl which will make one shawl with an 84” wingspan and 64” depth. We will purchase a copy of Botanic Shawl for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. If you would also like to have this pattern in your Ravelry library, please note your Ravelry ID (not your password!) in the "Notes" field in your cart!

Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US5 32” circular needle (or size needed to achieve gauge). If you don't already have the appropriate needle at home, you can shop Spun's selection of circular needles here.

If you'd like to make your kit a gift (for yourself or someone else), or if you just wish to keep your new project tidy and organized, choose either the Spun Rope Handle Bag with Pin or the Spun Messenger Bag with Pin, and we will package your purchase accordingly!
