A poncho is a perfect garment to bridge the seasons! Made with a cowl (like our sample) or without, the Easy Folded Poncho from Churchmouse is easy to knit (just one long stockinette rectangle), easy to finish (one seam), and easy to throw on whenever there’s a chill in the air. Noro Kakigori (50% cotton, 30% silk, 10% rayon, 10% nylon) makes for a soft and drapey fabric with a gently shifting color palate.
Each kit contains two balls of Noro Kakigori and the pattern for Easy Folded Poncho which will make one poncho approximately 22" wide and 50" long before folding. We will purchase a copy of Easy Folded Poncho for you via Ravelry, so you will automatically receive both a printed copy and an emailed PDF. Please note that this kit does not include needles. You will need a US6 32” or longer circular needle and, if you are making it with the optional cowl, a US 6 16” circular needle. You will also need a US8 needle of any length for the bind off and an optional size H (5mm) or larger crochet hook for an optional provisional cast on (or size needed to achieve gauge).
